ENGINEERING SUMMER INTERNSHIP

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing OSU undergraduate student with mechanical skills and interests to assist with improving the operation and efficiencies of sampling devices and equipment used in field research conduced with a team of researchers on the ecology and population dynamics of deep burrowing shrimp that occur in Oregon estuaries. The research will be conducted primarily on the Hatfield Marine Science Campus.

Internship Dates - June 18 to August 24, 2019 *start and end date may vary

Location - Newport, Oregon

Housing - Group housing included

Compensation -Total compensation not to exceed $6,120 over a 10-week period

Internship Application Review Process:

  3. If the applicant accepts the position, they will be hired as an OSU hourly student worker

Eligibility: This paid internship is a 40 hour a week commitment. If you are enrolled in summer classes, to qualify for this internship, you cannot be enrolled in more than 5 credits to fulfill the 40 hour week paid internship requirement.
