Applicants welcome from any major! 

If you are considering graduate study or a professional career in a marine related field, developing skills through hands-on experience is one of the most valuable learning opportunities you can have. This summer, Oregon State University Marine Studies Initiative will offer transdisplinary internships for OSU students to work with faculty mentors on projects that advance knowledge and understanding in coastal arts, engineering, tourism, education and more.

Art Internship

Engineering Internship

General Details:

Internship Dates - June 18 to August 24, 2019 start and end date may vary

Locations - Newport, Oregon / Port Orford, Oregon / Bandon, Oregon 

Housing - Group housing included

Compensation - Total compensation not to exceed $6,100 over a 10-week period

Eligibility: This paid internship is a 40 hour a week commitment. If you are enrolled in summer classes, to qualify for this internship, you cannot be enrolled in more than 5 credits to fulfill the 40 hour week paid internship requirement.
