Lodging

Stay at the beach!

Although the negotiated special room rate deadline has passed, we recommend that you contact the Hallmark Resort in Newport, a premier oceanfront resort 0.3 miles from the Center for Health Education and 1.2 miles from the Pacific Maritime Heritage Center. Most traveling participants will be staying here. We encourage you to visit Hallmark's website to learn about the location and amenities, including all rooms with ocean views and patios. To contact Hallmark:

  • Call 541-265-2600 (Hallmark Resort)
  • Ask for the lowest available rate and reference “HMSC Workshop” to let Hallmark know that you are part of our workshop
  • Provide your credit card information by phone, since you will be responsible for room, tax, and incidental charges upon check-out

If you would like additional lodging recommendations, please contact us.

Financial assistance

Thanks to our workshop sponsors, limited financial assistance is available for travel.

The deadline has now passed for requesting financial support.
